Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is used for a variety of purposes, including its most common use as an anti-inflammatory agent. It has been well investigated in animal models as well as in human trials and clinical experiments.

Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora) is a terpene (organic compound) that’s commonly used in creams, ointments, and lotions. Eucalyptus has an incredible monoterpene called 1,8 Cinole which has been shown in several studies to work on neutralizing inflammatory cytokines responsible for inflammation. It has a dual action when it comes to muscle tension. When inhaled after the lotion is applied the respiratory system also gets to be cleaned as congestion is reduced.
The active ingredient in wintergreen oil, methyl salicylate, is closely related to asprin and has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. As such, wintergreen oil is used as an anti-inflammatory and topical pain reliever.

Clinical research shows that taking chondroitin sulfate improves pain and function in people with osteoarthritis, which is a type of arthritis that breaks down cartilage in joints and helps slow the progression.
